Finally Microsoft announced some info about Windows 10 price and release date. It’s official: Windows 10 is coming on July 29 as a free upgrade to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users (for one year).

Some information about retailer’s prices and shipping date crossed the network with release date around a month later.

For example Newegg just published the Windows 10 prices on their site. Windows 10 will be available for purchase there at August 31:

• An OEM copy of Windows 10 Home will cost $109
• An OEM copy of Windows 10 Professional will cost $149.

After last windows update Windows 8.1 Pro is showing small notification that popups a reservation window.

After choosing to reserve your copy you get a confirmation screen.
